Getting The Word Out

If you believe, like we do, that Economic Education and Financial Literacy in the state of Florida should be required before high school graduation, help us get the word out! Talk to other parents, teachers, friends, colleagues, state and local officials and let them know that you support the future of Florida because you support mandatory financial literacy and economic education.

Studies have shown that those with more greater personal financial literacy are less likely to default on loans, have high amounts of credit card debt, and make more money over the course of their lifetimes. This is the reality we envision for all Floridians. The FCEE will not rest until all Floridians have access to quality instruction and resources for learning.

2020 Survey of the States

Every two years, the Council for Economic Education (CEE) conducts a comprehensive look into the state of K-12 economic and financial education in the United States, collecting data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The biennial Survey of the States serves as an important benchmark for our progress, revealing both how far we’ve come and how far we still have to go.
