FLAME (Financial Literacy and Money Education) is a statewide digital learning platform created by the Florida Council on Economic Education (FCEE). Designed for both educators and students, FLAME brings financial education to life with high-quality resources, professional development, and engaging online courses.


● FOR EDUCATORS

Access standards-aligned lesson plans, classroom resources, and professional learning opportunities to strengthen financial literacy instruction.


● FOR STUDENTS

Participate in interactive activities, digital courses, and real-world simulations that build essential life and money management skills.


● FOR FAMILIES & COMMUNITIES

Explore tools and supports that extend financial learning beyond the classroom and into everyday life.


● ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:

Florida teachers, students, parents, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.

* Note for Students: Students cannot sign up for FLAME directly. A teacher, parent, or community program staff member must register first. Once the adult completes their enrollment, a student login will be provided to them for your use.

CURRENT COURSE:

● Financial Freedom Digital (6-12 Grade)
Financial Freedom Digital is FCEE’s flagship online course designed to give students the tools and confidence to manage money wisely. The course introduces real-world financial skills through engaging lessons, interactive activities, and practical scenarios. Students will explore topics like budgeting, saving, credit, and responsible spending while developing habits that prepare them for long-term financial success. Built for middle and high school learners, the course is self-paced, accessible online or through the FLAME mobile app, and aligned to Florida’s personal finance education requirements. Teachers and parents can also use the course as a supplemental resource to support classroom instruction or at-home learning.
