The mission of the FAU Center for Economic Education is to provide area teachers access to new and innovative ways to teach economics in the K-12 classroom.Over the past five years the Center has offered 50 programs to 800 teachers. The total contact hours of these programs have totaled more than 225 hours. Many of the programs provided teachers with either print materials or CD-ROMs of curriculum materials.

Economic Education Workshops

The Center for Economic Education accomplishes this mission economic education by offering in-service workshops for K-12 teachers in its service area. These workshops emphasize active learning techniques to introduce economics in a number of subjects including geography, mathematics, history and civics. These include:
