Event Staff

The FCEE is delighted to welcome new volunteers to the organization.

Help is always needed for our regional fund raisers, the Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame, our Governors Awards Program, and the First Coast Business Hall of Fame (JAX). Besides these events, we are frequently called upon to assist at golf tournaments, to participate in educational conferences, to support civic activities and to speak at community gatherings, all of which benefit the Florida Council on Economic Education. Volunteers are a valuable asset and we would be happy to add you to our team of volunteer supporters.

Ambassadors

FCEE is recruiting experienced educators in each school district and region to assist us in our outreach efforts.

Teacher Ambassadors serve as our special liaisons to the education community and act as advocates for the FCEE and its affiliated Centers for Economic Education.

As a Teacher Ambassador you would provide feedback to the FCEE on the needs of educators in the school districts in your region. This can include submitting proposals for professional development workshops in your district, identifying needs for programming or materials, soliciting speakers and other support for schools participating in the Florida Stock Market Challenge. You might even conduct your own professional development workshops and be supported with CEE or FCEE materials and other resources that FCEE can provide.

Our Teacher Ambassadors are the FCEE’s focal point for communications in their regions. We seek the Ambassadors’ help to disseminate valuable information and resources to teachers. For example, you help us to raise awareness and solicit applications for the Governor’s Awards Program.

Ambassadors generate interest in the Florida Stock Market Challenge and help us to ensure that winning teams and their advisors get recognized for their accomplishments. You help get the word out about upcoming workshops and webinars. Ambassadors are among the first to learn of new programs and have the opportunity to provide input and expertise to the FCEE in connection with the development of new programs.
