Stock Market Challenge

The Florida Council is proud to offer this outstanding program free of charge to ALL Florida teachers.  Your contribution will allow us to make this service available to an addditional 50,000-100,000 students per year.

* Statewide Stock Market Challenge annual sponsorship are available.
* Portion of sponsorship goes directly toward training at economic ed center.
* Partial and district-level sponsorships are also available.
* Regional sponsors are branded within the simulation.
* Partnerships with regional newspapers are strongly preferred.

 

Student Enterprise Initiative

The Student Enterprise Initiative provides Florida students from grades 6-12 with the nation’s most powerful and unique experience in entrepreneurship. Students will create and submit their very own unique business plan.  Students will detail the concept, expected revenue and costs, as well as an explanation of how their business plan benefits consumers.  The student with the best statewide business plan will receive a grant to use towards college or towards the creation of their business.

* Sponsors can support statewide or regionally.
* Portion of sponsorship goes directly toward training at economic ed center.
* Sponsor contributions can go toward teacher training or creation of the student enterprise venture fund.

 

 Financial Freedom

This low-cost, high-yield program is a proven, effective teaching tool for grades 6-12. This sponsorship will provide for the updating of the workbook given to each student and for purchasing an additional 20,000 workbooks.

* Statewide Financial Freedom sponsorship are available.
* Portion of sponsorship goes directly toward training at economic ed center.
* Partial, regional and school district sponsorships are available.

 

Strive to Drive

Thousands of students are benefiting from this program that teaches personal financial management by taking students through the process of buying and maintaining a car. Strive to drive is being used by tens of thousands of students per year and the goal is to increase student participation by 10,000 per year.

* Statewide Strive to Drive sponsorship are available.
* Portion of sponsorship goes directly toward training at economic ed center.
* Partial and district-level sponsorships are also available.
