Stock Market Challenge
The Florida Council is proud to offer this outstanding program free of charge to ALL Florida teachers. Your contribution will allow us to make this service available to an addditional 50,000-100,000 students per year.
* Statewide Stock Market Challenge annual sponsorship are available.
* Portion of sponsorship goes directly toward training at economic ed center.
* Partial and district-level sponsorships are also available.
* Regional sponsors are branded within the simulation.
* Partnerships with regional newspapers are strongly preferred.
Student Enterprise Initiative
The Student Enterprise Initiative provides Florida students from grades 4-12 with the nation’s most powerful, unique, holistic and cutting-edge experience in entrepreneurship. Students will take part in a program that exposes them to the most vital economic lessons as they pertain to microeconomics, business development and entrepreneurship.
* Sponsors can support statewide or regionally.
* Portion of sponsorship goes directly toward training at economic ed center.
* Sponsor contributions can go toward materials, microloans, or the creation of a student enterprise venture fund.
Student GM Challenge
The Student GM Challenge provides Florida students in grades 6-12 with a unique and cutting-edge learning experience in sports business management. The Student GM Challenge is a first-of-its kind economics lesson experienced through the eyes of a sports executive. Applying key economic concepts related to finance, marketing, business management and human resources, students will learn what it takes to run a sports franchise. From deciding player salaries to hot dog prices, from parking fees to marketing the team, students are in charge in the GM Challenge!

* Co-branding with Florida sports teams is strongly desired.
Financial Freedom
This low-cost, high-yield program is a proven, effective teaching tool for grades 6-12. This sponsorship will provide for the updating of the workbook given to each student and for purchasing an additional 20,000 workbooks.

* Portion of sponsorship goes directly toward training at economic ed center.
* Partial, regional and school district sponsorships are available.
ECOnomics Florida
The ECOnomics Florida program provides Florida students from grades 4-12 with a powerful, unique, and engaging lesson about economics and the environment. Students will take part in a thought-provoking program that challenges them to apply economic reasoning to environmental concerns—including resource depletion, endangered species, and alternative energy sources.
* Sponsorship will provide for duplication and distribution of 3,000 kits.
* Portion of sponsorship goes directly toward training at economic ed center.
* Statewide ECOnomics sponsorship are available.
* Regional and school district sponsorships are available.
Strive to Drive
Thousands of students are benefiting from this program that teaches personal financial management by taking students through the process of buying and maintaining a car. Strive to drive is being used by tens of thousands of students per year and the goal is to increase student participation by 10,000 per year.

Florida Teacher Ambassador Corps
To meet the increasing demand for teacher training in economic education, the Council is creating a statewide network of outstanding economic education teachers who will train other teachers. This will serve as a cost effective way to meet the demand for training by placing an average of three highly qualified trainers in each of Florida’s 10 regions.

* Partial and regional sponsorships are also available.
Summer Training Camp
This new program will be held each year to train a minimum of 40 economic education teachers from throughout Florida. The program is designed to remove traditional obstacles to teacher training, including time limitations.

* Sponsors may also support training of teachers from specific districts or schools.
