First Coast Business Hall of Fame
The Florida Council on Economic Education, along with Event Chair Rob Clements (Class of 2012), is pleased to host the 17th Annual First Coast Business Hall of Fame on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. This premier, must-attend business event honors and celebrates an illustrious class of Inductees who’ve proven themselves as economic and community pillars of the Jacksonville area. On this special day, Doug Baer, Tim Cost, Shahid “Shad” Khan and Frank Martire will join the 64 other luminaries who since 1999 have been inducted into the First Coast Business Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame Ceremony does more than just honor First Coast leaders for their significant business accomplishments and civic contributions. It enables the Florida Council to provide critical economic and financial literacy education to K-12 students throughout the First Coast and Florida, those who will take their place as the next generation of informed and responsible citizens and leaders. The Class of 2015 will serve as shining examples of business leadership, free enterprise and community service for the First Coast youth who will follow in their footsteps. Proceeds from the Hall of Fame support the economic and free enterprise education programs and financial literacy initiatives of the FCEE and the Center on Economic & Financial Education at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
