We are pleased to announce that Mr. Hedrick Smith, Pulitzer Prize winning former New York Times correspondent and Emmy Award recipient will be our guest speaker at the USF Stavros Center on Thursday, November 6, 2014. Mr. Smith will be making comments related to his recent book, Who Stole The American Dream. Mr. Smith was a distinguished correspondent for the New York Times for twenty-six years. He is the author of several books, including The Russians, The Power Game and Rethinking America. Mr. Smith was a member of the Pulitzer Prize winning team that produced the Pentagon Papers series in the New York Times and is the recipient of Emmy Awards for his PBS collaboration.
Mr. Smith will be making an evening presentation at the Stavros Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. A reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. will precede Mr. Smith’s presentation. Copies of “Who Stole The American Dream” will be provided at no cost to guests as long as supplies remain.
